What is septimus signus?

Septimus Signus is a character in the video game "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim." He is a scholar who lives in a remote location on the northwestern coast of Skyrim. Septimus is obsessed with the mysterious Dwemer, an ancient race of elves who disappeared many years ago.

He plays a key role in the quest to uncover the secrets of the Elder Scrolls, powerful artifacts of immense knowledge and power. Septimus will task the player with gathering the Blood of a Dwemer and then using it to open a box that he believes contains something called the Oghma Infinium.

However, it is later revealed that Septimus is a pawn of the Daedric Prince Hermaeus Mora, who has been manipulating him to gain access to the Oghma Infinium. The player must then decide whether to betray Septimus and hand over the Oghma Infinium to Hermaeus Mora or destroy the artifact and prevent the Daedric Prince from obtaining it.
